Suzanne (Sue) Abraham (she/her) is a passionate educator, and currently leads the School of IT Administration & Security at Seneca as the Chair. Sue followed her fervor for sharing knowledge and left her career at a dotcom managing events, data and member services, moving to a private career college to teach business and computer courses. Her move was rewarded with an Instructor of the Month award, a promotion to Director of Education and the Education Excellence award twice. Since then, Sue has completed a TESOL certificate at the University of Toronto, taught English and was a language assessor for newcomers.
In addition, Sue has completed a Master of Education, at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto, where her research has focused on women in IT. She is an active advocate for advancing gender diversity in IT and has recently, joined the Canadian Coalition of Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT) as a Board Member.
