Stephanie Copp is the Head of IT Security Consulting and Testing for Munich RE where she leads the global teams delivering penetration and red team testing, security consulting, and controls testing programs and services. Before joining Munich Re, Stephanie built and led engaged, diverse and international teams of risk professionals at Great-West Life, Mackenzie Funds, and Manulife Financial. She’s been responsible for information and cyber security, business continuity, disaster recovery, vendor management, IT governance and regulatory reporting. Over her twenty plus years in information and cyber security, she’s worked both sides the fence – first-line execution and second-line oversight and program design.
Based in Toronto, Stephanie holds a number of professional designations (CISSP, CISM, GSLC, ABCP, CSM), and has a Master of Science in Computer and Information Security from the University of Liverpool.
