Roy French

Roy French is the Chief Information Officer at SE Health, where he is responsible for all Information Technology, Information Management, and Cyber Security initiatives. His role is two-fold; creating a secure, robust infrastructure to provide for ambitious growth, and utilizing the best of emerging wireless and mobile technology to improve the work environment for nurses, rehab staff, personal support workers, and their clients.

Roy has over 40 years experience in IT and, prior to joining SE Health, held executive positions in Pharmaceutical, Aerospace and Defense, and Manufacturing industries.

Roy holds a BSc in Computer Science from Ulster University and as well as being an accomplished musician, he has published twelve novels, none of which have anything to do with IT. His most recent novel, ‘Raven’s Blood’ was been adapted for a screenplay, with the Indie movie ‘Twisted Pieces’ released in 2018. A new film entitled ‘Soundbite is planned for release in 2026.
