Nancy has degrees in English Literature, the Humanities, and Adult Education. She has professional accreditation in Homeopathic Medicine and 20 years of experience in private practice. As a long-time volunteer in adult literacy, she realized that so many seniors wanted to learn tech skills but couldn’t access or attend classes even if they were available in their local communities. She started the Seniors’ Computer Lab Project as a means to eliminate all the barriers possible to “bring the school to the learner”. The first lab opened in 2016 in Beamsville and the project continues to grow throughout the Niagara region with the implementation of the Cyber-Seniors’ Mentoring program.
