Maryam is a Solutions Engineer at Wiz, where she works with organizations to better understand and secure their cloud and AI environments. Before joining Wiz, she was a Security Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, working closely with enterprise customers across Canada on cloud security strategy, SIEM modernization, and security operations.
Maryam earned her BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, where she founded a student cybersecurity community to make the field more approachable and accessible for students.
She is passionate about helping teams navigate modern security challenges without making security overwhelming or gatekept. And when she isn’t securing the cloud, she’s practicing “personal security” through Taekwondo and Muay Thai.
