Jean-Francois Amiot moved to Calgary 20 years ago to be closer to the Rocky Mountains. He first became involved with Security on the network side and subsequently became a SOC Manager at TELUS, leading a team that provides security services for both internal and external clients.
In his previous role, he created an ISP from scratch to provide high throughput (100G) research networks and Internet services to research institutions and universities in Alberta.
