Ferris is an experienced professional with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in information security governance, IT risk management, project management, compliance, operational risk and enterprise infrastructure and operations for clients in the Telecom, financial services, construction, engineering, and retail industries. I have also performed information security functions for significant public and private companies in Canada: Aecon, Symcor, and TD bank.
Ferris holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management. I am an Accredited Trainer for ISACA’S Certification Exams, CISM, CISA, and CRISC. Ferris is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CISM, CRISC, CIA, and CFE. Ferris has developed an in-depth experience of security in Telecoms, as well as experience in 5G, IoT products, and Data risk management. Ferris has participated in workshops and case studies related to IoT products and 5G use cases.
Ferris is an Instructor at the School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, where he teaches a course on Cybersecurity Program Design. I have presented at different conferences for ISACA Canada and the CIFI Toronto Conference.
