Dr. Jamil Ahmed has over 15 years of experience in Application Security including Threat Modeling, Application security maturity, Risk Assessment and defining application security assessment matrix. One of his recent interests is Agentic AI applications.
He has been a public speaker. On January 2026, he spoke at TMC-Toronto Chapter’s event regarding “Securing Agentic AI applications. He has been invited speaker at global annual conferences such as OWASP 2024 (user day-owasp SAMM), ISC2 Congress 2024, and TMC conference 2024.
He is also TMC-Toronto Chapter Leader.
Currently he works as Staff Application Security Engineer at GuardME International Insurance.
He graduated with PhD in Computer Science from Western University, London, Ontario in 2014.
