As a certified fraud examiner (CFE) Dom’s focus lies on transnational cybercrime who is becoming increasingly prevalent due to the large profits generated combined with a low risk of identification and prosecution. International cybercrime has become so extensive, underground suppliers are cropping up on the dark web offering easy access to the tools, programming frameworks, and services required to carry out cyberattacks. Ransomware is causing millions of dollars of damages and remains a potent tool for cybercriminals and nation-state attackers. Ransomware “remains the key malware threat in both law enforcement and industry. The damage of high-profile campaigns like WannaCry, NotPetya, and Bad Rabbit still loom large in the memory, with suggesting a global loss of more than $5bn as a result of these attacks. As an information security veteran and HarvardX cyber-risk tutor, Dominique taught hundreds of students in cyber-risk management. Dom shows a consistent track-record of techno-managerial leadership coupled with persistent subject matter expertise across several domains, high net worth clients, and geographies. Dom works closely with law enforcement, critical infrastructure operation, and nation-states on the topics of asymmetrical cyber threats. Dom is currently based out of Bern Switzerland.
