David Benas leads the Emerging Technology domain within the Black Duck Consulting and has over a decade of experience helping many clients across numerous verticals build more secure software and structure secure software security programs. With the explosion of interest in generative AI over the past few years, David has worked with dozens of organizations to help them both secure their AI deployments and build software security programs capable of evolving with the fast-paced nature of the technology. He specializes in AI/ML security, container security, red teaming, network security, and software architecture. His current areas of interest and research include GenAI hacking, quantum crypto, k8s exploitation, smart contract security, and reverse engineering games.
