Chief Bryan MacCulloch has dedicated over 34 years to the policing profession and is incredibly proud to be afforded the opportunity to serve our community and lead the women and men, both civilian and sworn of the Niagara Regional Police Service.
Prior to his appointment, Chief MacCulloch served for over 4 years as the Deputy Chief of Operational Services, where he provided oversight and leadership to over 650 frontline Uniform Officers and Detectives assigned to District Operations and Emergency & Investigative Services.
Throughout his diverse policing career, Chief MacCulloch has held a variety of operational and senior management positions within the Niagara Regional Police Service, including: District Operations, Tactical Unit, Marine Unit, Fraud Unit, Detective Services, Homicide Unit, Executive Officer to the Deputy Chief, Court Services & Prisoner Management, Professional Standards Unit and Operational Support Services.
In the recent months, Chief MacCulloch has been dedicated to guiding the membership of the Niagara Regional Police Service through the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring both continued member wellness and safety while balancing the mandate to serve and protect the citizens of Niagara.
Chief MacCulloch is a recipient of the Governor General of Canada’s Order of Merit of the Police Forces and the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal and Bar for dedicating 30 years of distinguished service to our Community and the policing profession.
