Sundeep Sandhu is Vice President, Technology & Cyber Risk – Global Risk at Manulife, where she leads independent enterprise oversight of cybersecurity, technology, and emerging AI and digital risks. In this role, she strengthens risk governance, resilience, and transparency, supporting effective executive and board oversight while enabling secure, responsible innovation across global operations.
Previously, Sundeep served as Vice President of Cyber Security at Rogers Communications and Chief Information Security Officer for Rogers Bank, where she modernized enterprise cyber defenses, advanced cloud security capabilities, and led critical incident response efforts to protect national infrastructure. Her leadership was recognized with the 2023 WCT Woman of the Year Award.
With over 20 years of experience, Sundeep is a trusted advisor to executives and boards on cyber, technology, and risk. She is known for driving risk-informed transformation, building high-performing teams, and advancing resilient, secure digital strategies.
She also actively shapes the future of cybersecurity and AI leadership, having served on the board of Toronto Metropolitan University’s Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst and on advisory boards for Mastercard’s Emerging Leaders Cyber Initiative and the University of New Brunswick’s AI & Machine Learning program.
