Srini Vuggumudi is a Senior Security Engineer at Malwarebytes, Inc. He is also a Ph.D. candidate at Dakota State University, working on his thesis related to advanced persistent threats (APTs). Srini has a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance and Computer Security from Dakota State University, a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Dakota State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from California State University East Bay, and a Master of Science degree in Computer Education and Cognitive Systems from the University of North Texas. Srini is a multi-skilled software engineering and security professional with software industry experience from numerous corporations ranging from fortune 500s to startups. His expertise includes application security, Secure SDLC, penetration testing, software development, and project management. Srini is passionate about contributing to the cybersecurity domain, and he actively participates as a mentor/coach/instructor in mentorship programs related to cybersecurity. Srini holds the following professional certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
