Aprielle Oichoe is a Cyber Security professional with vast experience in Information Security Strategy, Information Security Program Formulation and Implementation, Enterprise Risk Management, Systems Audit and Testing. With over 11 years’ experience at different levels in IT and IS, Aprielle brings her real-world experience to every engagement. Aprielle holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from Africa Nazarene University, a Master of Science (MSc) in Cyber Security with a distinction from University of Bradford (UK). She also holds CISA, ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems LI/LA/Master, ISO 27032 Cyber Security Manager, ISO 22301 Business Continuity and ISO 31000 Risk Manager certifications.
Aprielle is currently the Managing Director of Infosphere Limited, a Cyber Security consulting firm in Kenya, the Research and pecial program director Africa Cyber Defense Forum (ACDF), the president CyberHeroines and the President WiCyS East Africa affiliate chapter. Aprielle’s key interests are Information/Cyber Security and Resilience, Enterprise Risk, Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security Behavioral analytics, Cryptology, Quantum computing and the Human Aspect of Cyber Security. IT is Aprielle’s quintessential objective to be part of the instrumentality through which some of the globe’s information security challenges are tackled. Aprielle seeks to help organisations understand their information life cycles and associated assets, identify the security risks posed to these assets, mitigate the risks and transform to be cyber security conscious environments.
