With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of communications, marketing, cybersecurity, and project management, Claira works where strategy meets execution — and where reputation, technology, and human connection meet.
She holds a BA in Communications from Carleton University and earned her Marketing Certification alongside an Alma Cum Laude distinction from the Richard Robinson Academy. She is certified in Cybersecurity, giving her a practical understanding of both communication strategy and the real risks organizations are navigating today.
Claira is also a Certified ILSAT Translator (English–Spanish / Spanish–English), working with Immigrant Women’s Services Ottawa. Her career began in the fast-paced world of hospitality and live events, where she led large-scale productions — corporate conferences, virtual summits, film festivals, awards galas, and complex initiatives. That environment sharpened her ability to manage pressure, protect brand integrity, and deliver with precision and care.
Today, she applies that same discipline to digital strategy, cybersecurity-aware communications, marketing systems, and organizational transformation. Her work is guided by one core belief: meaningful impact happens when strategy, integrity, honesty, care, and human fundamentals align.
