Amar is part of RSM’s Cyber Response practice, focusing on digital forensics and incident response. He has supported a wide range of investigations, including ransomware, business email compromise, cloud account compromise, malware, e-discovery, employee misconduct,
intellectual property theft, phishing, unauthorized access, privacy breaches, website compromise, fraudulent wire transfers, and mobile forensics.
He brings seven years of experience leading incident response efforts, performing forensic analysis, and developing threat detection strategies that help clients identify and contain cyber threats.
Before joining RSM, Amar worked in cybersecurity roles at Bank of Montreal, Centennial College, and CompuCom. There, he handled incident response, security monitoring, and threat-hunting activities across enterprise environments.
Amar is often asked to help clients evaluate their security posture and strengthen resilience through better processes, automation, and modern detection capabilities.
His skill set spans endpoint, server, and network forensics, intrusion detection and prevention, EDR analysis, malware analysis, threat hunting, log analysis, OSINT, and penetration testing.
