
Maryam Shuaibu Aliyu is a cybersecurity specialist, educator, and founder of Cyber Hijabi Tech a registered platform committed to empowering women, especially hijabis, with practical skills and mentorship in cybersecurity. Her journey into tech is a story of resilience: from a modest teaching job in Kano, raising two toddlers, and learning cybersecurity using only a mobile phone, to becoming a recognized voice in digital safety and inclusion.
Today, Maryam leads cybersecurity trainings, GRC-focused workshops, and community outreach programs that bridge the gender gap in tech. She also serves as the Cybersecurity Facilitator at Aisha KWAKU and Associates, Director for Women at the International Cybersecurity and Digital Forensic Academy, and Lead Trainer at Cyber Hijabi Tech.
She speaks passionately about digital empowerment, risk management, and the role of women in securing our digital future.
