What is a cybersecurity escape room?
This immersive and interactive adventure takes participants through a series of thrilling scenarios designed to enhance cybersecurity skills. Navigate through settings such as a home, office, and hacker’s den, each filled with challenging puzzles and realistic simulations. Learn to defend against brute force password attacks, understand the dangers of ransomware, and improve awareness of phishing scams.

Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes. The escape room features four games at different levels, ranging from beginner to expert.
How long is this experience?
Each room takes approximately 15 minutes, with a total duration of no longer than 1 hour.
Is this accessible to everyone?
Yes. We are a physically accessible establishment.
How do I cancel/reschedule my booking?
Please refer to the confirmation sent by your Calendly booking (where you initially booked the session) to cancel or reschedule or, send an email to [email protected].

How physical are the escape rooms?
Our escape rooms do not require engaging in strenuous physical activity such as running or heavy lifting.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and come as you please.
If I book a game, will I be put in with people I don’t know?
You can join a group if you are solo or have fewer than four people in your group. Alternatively, you can go through the escape room solo if you have reserved your time online.
Do you accept walk-ins?
No. All participants must reserve a time slot online.
Arrival Time/Late Arrivals
All players are kindly asked to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled game time. This extra time allows for waiver completion and a quick safety briefing. If running late, we will do our best to ensure as much of your game time as possible, but significant delays may affect participation.
Do you provide food and drinks?
We do not provide food or drinks. However, we are located near many delicious eateries.
Are guests allowed to bring in outside food/drinks?
Outside food can be brought in but must stay in the waiting room. Food and open drinks (drinks without lids) are not allowed in the game rooms. Only water bottles or closed non-alcoholic drinks are permitted beyond the waiting room.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We have a zero-tolerance policy for any person or group who harasses, abuses, or is inappropriate with any of the owners, managers, or staff members. Any group or persons who physically or verbally assault, or make lewd, threatening, or inappropriate comments towards any member of the team will be asked to leave the premises.
Are escape games scary?
Our games are family-friendly, though we have included a spooky mystery theme in some of the scenarios.
How early should I book my session?
We require bookings to be made at least 48 hours in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
What happens if I cancel my booking last minute?
Please contact us as soon as possible at [email protected]. We understand that emergencies happen, but it is better to let us know rather than to be a no-show.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just bring yourself and a readiness to learn and have fun. All necessary materials will be provided.
Can I take pictures or videos inside the escape room?
To preserve the experience for others, photography and video recording are not allowed inside the escape rooms. There are designated areas for photos. Feel free to tag us and #cyberescape.
Can we bring our own team-building exercises to complement the escape room?
Yes, we can accommodate additional team-building activities. Please discuss your requirements with us in advance by emailing us at [email protected].
What languages are supported?
The escape room experience is currently offered in English.
Are there any prerequisites or prior knowledge required?
No prior knowledge of cybersecurity is needed. Our escape room is designed to be educational and accessible for all skill levels, from beginners to experts.
Is there free parking?
There is parking available at the front and back of the building.
Are there hotels nearby?
Yes, there are the two main hotels in Town. They are located off Wellington, near the 404 exit, with lots of eateries nearby.
